As part of the Building Sustainability grant (Provincial Government), the Island Lakes Residents’ Group is receiving almost $60,000. This will help fund a covered picnic shelter in Waterfront Park. Construction will likely occur in 2024.

Your ILRG, with the help of our City Councilor, Matt Allard, has been successful in obtaining a SECOND grant for $60,000 from City of Winnipeg, bringing total funding to $120,000. The estimated cost for the picnic shelter is $120,000.
