Were you able to attend our 2023 ILRG Clean Up and Family Fun day?
“If YES”, we hope you enjoyed yourself and we wish to thank you for being a part of such an amazing day. The ILRG Board believes this year’s event was our biggest EVER!
“If NO”, please consider attending next year’s event! The photo galleries below will show you the fun you missed. Let’s make next year even bigger!
An event, such as this, wouldn’t be possible without all our wonderful SPONSORS and VOLUNTEERS.
Items contributed, not listed in the photos include: Canmark Industries Ltd. (coupons for a free stamp), Coronation Bowling Centre (discount coupons for bowling), Take Pride Winnipeg (a box full of Frisbees!).

We kicked off the day at 9:00 am with our annual CLEAN UP!
It was amazing to see young and old come out to receive garbage bags/gloves and clean up assignments, as well as coffee, hot chocolate and Tim Bits, courtesy of Tim Hortons – Sage Creek.

Family Fun Day, by the Splash Pad was the main attraction. Shari and your Board planned so many fun events.

The meal was a huge success with hot dogs (provided by AAA Lawncare), chips and drinks. Fortune cookies, watermelon and discount coupons provided by Yami Gardens.

Activities included the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) Fire House and Fire Truck. If you left early, you missed out on the Fire Truck!

Face painting and that yummy cotton candy were sponsored by Rachel Moore, Remax Realty. Weren’t the face painting ladies amazing?!

Raptor Roofing were on the scene handing out Jumbo Freezies, and hosting their dino “arcade” game for a chance to win a $25 Dairy Queen Gift Card! As well, their Dino’s entertained the crowd and marshalled our bike/scooter parade.

Tyler Blashko had some fun yard games set up for children of all ages to try their luck!

Andrew Smith’s team were busy handing out chips and drinks and talking to the crowd. We were fortunate to have Andrew in attendance, as well, to address the crowd.

Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue were gracious enough to send their volunteers with Adoptable Cobra, and some amazing merchandise. Adoptable Tripp, made a very brief appearance! Many attendees did not have money on hand. Please check out https://manitobamutts.org/ to Adopt, Foster or donate. Cobra, and so many others need a home.

Not only did we have adoptable dogs attending, but we had cats too! Adoptable Ghost, wasn’t going to be “shown up” by a dog! What’s One More Community is a newer cat rescue. Let’s help spread the word, and reach out to sponsor, adopt or purchase a calendar for Fixing Feral Felines. Check them out on Facebook at http://facebook.com/whatsonemorecommunity/.

Other booths and activities included Elections Manitoba, Resident membership/adopt-a-pot table, bubble machine, bike/scooter decorating parade (prizes for everyone), as well as our candy scrambles!!
