CLEAN UP & FAMILY FUN DAY IN PHOTOS!

Despite the light rain shower in the morning we had a GREAT turn out for the Clean Up portion of the event held on May 23rd, 2026! Residents received their clean up assignments; a ticket for a “free sheet” to enter our Silent Auction; and coffee, hot chocolate and Timbits donated by Tim Horton’s Sage Creek.

Our BOARD – From Left to Right – Chantal de Rocquigny, Lynne Kuzie, Lindsey Wilson, Julie Ediger, Bobbie White; Missing Helen Lymburner

The team from Recycle Everywhere joined us for the Clean Up!

The weather cleared up in time for the BBQ, performance, games and silent auction!

We can’t THANK everyone enough for the work, contributions and participation…….

Can you believe the AMAZING PRIZES?! Thank you to Chantal for all the hard work running our SECOND Silent Auction. CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners!

SEVENTEEN AMAZING Gift Bundles plus 50/50!

PRANCING PONY PETTING ZOO was back with all their incredible friends!

We also got to enjoy the Winnipeg Fire Safety House with Fire Safety Sparky as well as the Winnipeg Police with Copper, the Golden Retriever!

We had some amazing booths set up by South Manitoba Orthodontics, Recycle Everywhere, Amazing Cruises and Safaris, Tyler Blashko, Raptor Roofing, and Bonavista Pharmacy.

We served up hundreds of hot dogs at the BBQ, complete with chips, drinks and cotton candy.

Of course you can’t forget crowd favorites – face painting, candy scramble and we added 3-legged races again this year!

HELEN is back as our Resident Membership Director and she was busy collecting money, taking guesses for our Jelly Bean count and handing out free items. It’s not too late to pay your membership. Email Helen at ilrg.memberships@gmail.com.

We were lucky to have all our political representatives join us. Lindsey Wilson kicked off the speeches, followed by Ginette Lavack, Tyler Blashko and Matt Allard. Matt reminded folks that upgrading of our Tennis Courts will begin as soon as school is out for the summer and should last about 5 weeks.

The big feature this year – kicking off our event was the live performance by this group of young men! Wrath of Man paid tribute to Metallica….

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR…………..
