The ILRG Annual General Meeting was held Wednesday, November 16 at the Southdale Community Centre. Along with your ILRG Board Members, Matt Allard, Councillor and Honourable Andrew Smith, Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage were in attendance. Lynne Kuzie was sworn in as the new Treasurer, replacing Terry Bias who served for many years. Our thanks again to Terry for all the work he has done over the years. Thank you too, to Wayne Nyysola, who stepped down as Special Events Director. This position remains open for anyone wanting to volunteer! Chantale Thurston was re-elected as Secretary, Rashmi Saxena was re-elected as Communications-Social Media. Helen Lymburner agreed to remain for a final two year term as Adopt-A-Pot Coordinator, Resident Memberships and Community Update Newsletter Editor. Lynne Kuzie will be helping Helen with the Newsletter. Helen would love help with the Adopt-A-Pot program. Please consider volunteering.
