There have been a number of sighting reported recently in Island Lakes and neighboring areas. The ILRG Board wants everyone to be aware and use extreme caution. A Conservation Officer at Manitoba Conservation and Climate advised that there have been no reported attacks on people, however, there have been a small number of attacks on small dogs. He suggested people buy noise makers and a carry a walking stick for use in the event that an animal comes too close.
